The Rootworker’s Haus**

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using this website or placing an order with The Rootworker’s Haus (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing this site and completing a purchase, you (“you,” “the customer”) agree to be bound by all terms below.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this site or purchase products from The Rootworker’s Haus.
1. Nature of Products
All items sold by The Rootworker’s Haus are handcrafted spiritual curios intended for ritual, devotional, energetic, and metaphysical use. They are not cosmetics, medications, or medical treatments.
Nothing on this site should be interpreted as medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. No specific results are guaranteed; outcomes vary based on personal energy, intention, spiritual alignment, and external circumstances.
2. Order Processing Times
Processing time refers to the period required to handcraft, bless, prepare, and package your order before it ships.
Standard processing time:
21–30 business days (Monday–Friday only; excluding weekends and holidays).
Custom items:
Require an additional 30 business days once custom work begins.
Orders containing custom items ship only when all items are complete.
Placing an order signifies your agreement to these timelines.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Processing time and shipping time are separate.
You will receive a tracking number once your order has been handed to USPS, DHL, or another carrier. Delivery schedules, delays, missing scans, or misdeliveries are controlled by the carrier, not by The Rootworker’s Haus.
4. Carrier Responsibility
Once your package has been accepted and scanned by USPS/DHL:
- We cannot control delivery speed, route, or updates
- We cannot contact your local carrier on your behalf
- We are not responsible for packages that are delayed, stolen, missing, misdelivered, or marked as delivered but not received
Customers must first contact the carrier to file a claim or initiate a package search.
If a package is officially declared lost or unlocatable after the carrier investigation, please email us so we may discuss next steps.
5. Order Accuracy & Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate:
- name
- shipping address
- order details
We are not responsible for replacing or refunding orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
All items are handcrafted, made to order, and spiritually prepared. For this reason:
- Orders may be canceled within the first 24 hours
- After 24 hours, all sales are final
- We do not accept returns or exchanges
- We do not issue refunds due to dissatisfaction with processing time, spiritual results, or impatience
Custom orders cannot be canceled once the preparation period has begun.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Authorization
By placing an order, you confirm:
- You authorized the payment
- You intentionally placed the order
- You read and agreed to the posted processing and shipping timelines
- You understand that false chargebacks are considered fraudulent activity
We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback with full documentation, including checkout confirmation, tracking data, timestamps, and customer communication.
Chargeback Policy Filing a chargeback while a refund is pending or has already been issued is considered fraudulent dispute activity.
Filing a chargeback after your order has been shipped and tracking has been provided is considered an illegitimate dispute. Once a shipment has been confirmed and tracking information has been issued, the order is considered fulfilled. In the event of a lost or delayed package, please contact us directly so we can work toward a resolution before initiating a dispute with your bank.
All orders are documented with timestamped communication records, shipping confirmations, tracking information, checkout agreement confirmations, and order history. This information will be submitted as evidence in any dispute. We reserve the right to refuse future orders from customers who file illegitimate chargebacks.
8. Damaged Items
If an item arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 72 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the item, packaging, and shipping box
- We will determine whether a replacement, partial refund, or store credit is appropriate
Damage due to carrier mishandling may require a claim to USPS/DHL.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- misuse products
- harass or abuse staff
- create defamatory content about the business
- resell items without permission
- copy or reproduce product formulas, blends, artwork, or written descriptions
10. Intellectual Property
All branding, product names, artwork, descriptions, formulas, blends, and content on this website belong to The Rootworker’s Haus and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
11. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Personal information is used solely for:
- fulfilling orders
- customer service
- store communication
We do not sell or share customer data.
12. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in:
- abusive communication
- boundary violations
- fraudulent activity
- harassment
- disrespect toward the business or spiritual practice
This includes canceling orders and issuing refunds at our discretion.
13. Policy Changes
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
