That grin should have been your first warning.
Chessie has moved on from making things inconvenient.
Formerly Cheshire’s Curse, Chessie’s DUME carries the original oil’s concealed, creeping approach into workings aimed at outright destruction. DUME stands for Destruction Unto My Enemies, and the intention here is ruin: destroying an enemy’s plans, closing their opportunities, breaking their influence, and unraveling the support that allows them to thrive.
The original worked quietly to interfere. This version is prepared to take things apart.
Chessie’s DUME can be worked against a particular undertaking or directed more broadly toward the foundations of an enemy’s success. A scheme they have carefully cultivated. An alliance that gives them access and protection. The favor that keeps opening doors for them. The influence they rely on to get their way without consequences. Your petition determines what the work is meant to reach and what you intend to bring down.
The Cheshire influence remains in the approach: destruction worked beneath the surface, without an obvious hand to point toward. The intention is for the target to contend with the collapse while its source remains concealed. What appeared dependable becomes unreliable. Support withdraws, opportunities disappear, and attempts to recover fail to restore what was lost.
This is a deliberate baneful oil for destruction work. Choose it when you intend to petition for an enemy’s downfall, rather than a warning, temporary frustration, or the return of something they sent you.
Ways to Work With Chessie’s DUME
Use a small amount to anoint name papers, photographs, petitions, ritual poppets, or other representations of your target. It can also be incorporated into a dedicated destruction jar or used on symbolic materials representing what you intend to dismantle.
For a focused destruction working, write the target’s name and identify the specific undertaking, alliance, opportunity, or source of influence you want brought down. Anoint the paper and work it according to your practice. Naming both the person and the intended outcome gives the working a clearer direction than an undefined request for destruction.
For breaking an enemy’s support, center your petition on the favor, cooperation, access, and alliances that sustain their position. Use the oil on a representation of those connections, with the intention of separating the target from what has kept them secure.
For broader downfall work, name the areas you intend to affect and establish the boundaries of the petition. Be deliberate about the reach of your work, including who and what you intend to keep outside it.
Sample Petition
[Name], I call for the destruction of your [name the intended focus]. Let the foundations beneath it give way. Let the favor that advances you withdraw, the alliances that sustain you fracture, and the roads before you close.
Let your plans unravel beyond your ability to restore them. Let what you rely upon fail to support you, and what you reach for move beyond your grasp. Keep the source of this work concealed and its consequences confined to the target and purpose I have named. My household, my prosperity, and those under my protection remain outside its reach.
To this destruction, I set this work.
For external ritual use only. Do not ingest. Keep oil and anointed materials away from open flames, children, and pets.
